Super gelöst, garibaldi. Wie bist jetzt drauf gekommen??
Ich dachte mir einfach: Eine riesige Ausgrabungsfläche mit zum Teil recht gut erhaltenen Gebäudeteilen, und das südlich von Rom, da kommen eigentlich nur 2 in Frage, und nach Pompeii sah das nicht aus. Den Verdacht auf Herculaneum hatte ich schon vorher, deshalb hatte ich nach "südlich von Rom" gefragt.

Eigentlich müsste ich als alter "Humanist" ja beide Städte mal anschauen, aber ich komm' da nie hin :( ... naja, vielleicht, wenn die Rente kommt ...

RICHTIG !! Das ist Herculaneum - die 79 durch den Vesuv-Ausbruch verschüttete Stadt am Meer nahe Napoli, obendrauf das neue Ercolano.
