Aha! Brandenburg ist nicht nur das Land, sondern auch die Stadt! Und da gibt es den Dom Sankt Peter und Paul. Und in dem steht ein Giebelschrank! Das war das richtige Stichwort ...
Na siehste Cornelius, das war doch gar nicht so schwer. Es ist ein Dreigiebelschrein vom Hohen Chor. In ihm wurden liturgische Gewänder aufbewahrt. Und dieses Schränkchen ist etwa 600 Jährchen alt. Z.Zt. wird der Dom restauriert und den Schrank hatten sie etwas umquartiert.

Sowas hab' ich noch nie gesehen. Was könnte das für eine Funktion (gehabt) haben? Vielleicht hat man da Delinquenten eingeschlossen, damit sie am Gottesdienst teilnehmen konnten (oben durch die Löcher schauen ...)??? Blöde Idee, aber eine bessere fällt mir nicht ein ...

Ich könnte anbieten: fragen. Denn wenn ich sage, wozu dieses Schränkchen diente, dann hat man's sofort raus. Hat auch schon etliche Jahrnunderte auf'm Buckel.

Es ist kein Modell einer großen Kirche, auch kein Versteck für den Messwein. Es ist eine evangelische Kirche. Und mit brandenburgischem Deutschland liegst Du sehr gut.
